YOU MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ALL THE COMPETITION RULES. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE A CONTRACT AND A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. YOU MUST AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BY ENTERING THE COMPETITION AND PAYMENT OF ENTRY.

The Competition/Challenge Dates: The Competition will run from 22 September – 16 November 2025.  
Scans & Photo: Scan 1 and photos must be completed between 17 – 21 September 2025. Final Scan and photos must be completed between 12-16 November 2025.  
Age restrictions: You must be 18 years old at the start date of the challenge to enter.  

Medical Clearance and Physical Consent: By taking part in the challenge to the best of your knowledge there is no health/medical reason known to you that would adversely affect you while on the challenge. We advise that you consult with your primary physician before starting the challenge.  You agree that it is your responsibility to make Northern Arena aware of any health/medical concerns prior to commencing and agree to update us should your medical/health status change during the challenge.   
Payment: Payment must be made in full before 22 September 2025 unless a payment plan has been agreed via Afterpay. After Pay Payment terms and conditions apply.  
Cancellation and Refund policy: Should you wish to cancel your challenge, you will need to notify Northern Arena (The Organiser), by email at gym@northernarena.co.nz by 17 September 2025. You will be refunded the remaining amount after a $75 cancellation fee. Fee’s will be refunded to the credit/debit card or bank account of your choice. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to be processed. Time may vary depending on the processing time of your bank or card issuer. Any refunds will be effective from the date of written notification is received and must be received by 17 September 2025.

Due to administration and other costs incurred by The Organiser, no refunds will be given after 17 September 2025. Non-attendance will not result in any refund of the challenge entry fees.   
Transfer of Participant: You can transfer your challenge to another person before 17 September 2025, however third-party fee’s may be incurred. Additional services or resources, such as t-shirt, scans, access to apps or others, may be charged to fulfil the competition criteria.   
Promotion: Members and non-approved third parties are not permitted to advertise or promote services or products that are not approved by the organisers.   
Your Obligation to Us: You acknowledge that your participation in exercise has risks involved and that while onsite at Northern Arena we assess these risks and provide safe exercise programming. Prior to attempting any exercises offsite, you agree to assess the risks and you release any liability to Northern Arena caused by your acts or omissions. You agree to take care of your health, you agree that you will follow direction and instructions of Northern Arena staff whilst using the facility and you will not use diuretics or restrict your food intake or behave in an unhealthy way or put at risk your personal health by your acts or omission’s.  
Intellectual Property: Unless otherwise indicated copyright includes contents, materials, recipes, exercise programs, text, graphics, logos, icons, video, photographs, software is owned or under licenses to us by approved third parties. All names logo trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Nothing should be interpreted as granting any rights to commercial use or to use and distribute names, logos or trademarks without express consent written by relevant owners.  
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify us and our subcontractors from and against any third-party claims and all losses, expenses, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees incurred on a solicitor/client basis) suffered or incurred by us.  
Third Party Content: We use third parties to provide some information and services during the competition. The organisers are not responsible for those services provided by third parties. Wellness scores and results are meant for users with no underlying health conditions you should not rely on this information as a substitute for or replacement of professional medical advice.   
Personal Information: Photo and Images Release Advertising and Publicity: You hereby grant permission to The Organiser to use photographs and/or video of you taken while doing The Competition, online, and in other communications. You agree for Northern Arena to be able use your image for use in future promotional material. Your before and after picture can be used by The Organiser for future promotions. Your consent and release of these images is conditional on being eligible for prizes in The Challenge and you agree to this by taking part in The Competition and signing this agreement you release your images to The Organiser.  
Termination of Participation: Northern Arena may at its sole discretion refuse entry or suspend or terminate participation at any time during The Competition.  
Exclusions: Employees, of The Organiser and any third parties and their families relating to The Competition are not eligible for prizes, however, they are welcome to take part in The Challenge.   
The Prizes: The individual prizes are awarded as follows:  

First prize: $10,000. 2 x Lorna Jane Personal Shopping Experiences, 1 x Creative Hair makeup and hair product goodie bag to the value of $400. 1 x Lighting Direct feature light to the value of $500 + install by Perl Electrical.    

To be eligible to win participants are required: 

To complete all photos and scans within the designated timeframe and correct criteria.  

Must not be in arrears on their gym membership.  
Prize Winners: The prize winners will be determined at the sole discretion of The Organiser. Participants will be judged on competition criteria by the Judging Panel. The members of the Judging Panel will not enter in ANY discussions on the winners or merits of other participants. Their decision is final and not open for discussion or debate. Personal information will not be passed/ discussed to people outside of the Judging Panel unless it is required to decide on The Competition Results.   

$50 Credit Back: Northern Arena members that complete the challenge will receive $50 credit back on to their membership. To be eligible for the credit members must: Complete the challenge (photos and scans). Must not be in arrears on their gym membership.  Must hold an active Northern Arena membership as of 22 September 2025 and for the duration of The Competition. 
Amendments: The Organisers reserve the right to withdraw or amend The Competition as necessary or due to circumstances outside its control. The Organisers require a minimum of 100 participants to go ahead with The Competition and reserve the right to cancel The Competition at its discretion depending on number of paid participants. In the event of cancellation of The Competition before The Competition start date a full refund will be given.  
Provisions: If a provision of these terms is void or unenforceable, it may be severed without affecting the enforceability of the other terms.      
Noncompliance: Any non-compliance with the rules and these terms and conditions set out in this agreement or at the sole discretion of The Organiser may result in your removal from The Competition and/or The Challenge.  
By entering and paying for The Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Competition = Persons eligible and taking part Cut for Cash 8 Week Healthy Eating and Exercise Transformation Challenge. 
The Challenge = Persons eligible and taking part in the Cut for Cash 8 Week Healthy Eating and Exercise Transformation Challenge. 
The Competition Dates = 22 September 2025 – 16 November 2025. 
Judging Panel = Specifically selected members of Northern Arena management of who are involved in the running of the Challenge/Competition.
