Technique Week

Technique:  /tɛkˈniːk/   |   noun   |   A skilful or efficient way of doing or achieving something.

From Saturday 24 March until 31 March we are putting on special events to give you the chance to nail that technique and master the moves to get the best out of your workout.

Incorrect technique can be inefficient, ineffective and can cause serious injury. Fine tune your tekkers and ensure you are nailing that move everytime.

Please note: All technique classes require bookings. Bookings open 1 week prior to the event on the timetable. Limited space is available.

 
 

Timetable of Events

Sunday 24 March  |  1-3pm with Daphne  |  $30 -Buy online now!

In this workshop, the focus will be to release myofascial tissue in the body, increase flow in the meridians, release tight joints and tissues and to increase the movement of Chi in the body.

 

We will use tennis balls combined with a deep yin yoga practice to assess the deeper layers of the body. This will be a deep and profound shift and release of energy in the body, restoring flow, harmony and balance.

Monday 25 March  |  9-9:30am with Dean

Whether you’re a regular to the pool or a complete beginner – this Swim Fit Technique session is for you!

Our expert Swim Coaches will take you through technique for a variety of different swimming strokes & breathing techniques to take your swimming skills to the next level.

 

Bring along your swim cap and goggles - Be quick to book into this session as spots will fill quickly!

Tuesday 26 March  |  5:30-6am with Kyle

Whether you’re a regular to the pool or a complete beginner – this Swim Fit Technique session is for you!

Tuesday 26 March  |  9:30-10:15am with Leah

Great technique is the secret to great results! Whether you’re wanting to better your Body Pump burn or feel confident walking into your first class – Leah has you covered. Learn correct and effective technique, along with some tips and tricks to get the most from your weights workout. Leah will focus on the large muscle groups within this session: Squats, Chest, Back and Lunges.

Spin your way to a fitter, stronger & healthier you! Learn the fundamentals to a great cycle workout and the key differences between Sprint and RPM – then put your technique to the test in your next cycle class!
