Through this partnership, Northern Arena and Massey University are making that decision easier by creating a clear pathway that supports both. Athletes can continue training within a high performance swimming programme while accessing the flexibility and support needed to succeed at university.

High Performance Support

Athletes connected with the programme will have access to valuable performance resources through Massey's Academy of Sport.

These include professionally designed strength and conditioning programmes, athlete performance testing, specialist development resources and access to university training facilities. Combined with Northern Arena's experienced coaching team, this creates an environment focused on long term athlete development and sustained performance.

Eligible student athletes may also have opportunities to apply for sporting scholarships and financial support, helping remove barriers while balancing university study with elite swimming.
