Consultation & Assessment
In your consultation you will go through your health, fitness background, and personal goals before beginning a structured training program.
During the consultation, you'll discuss medical history, injury considerations, lifestyle factors, current activity levels, and previous training experience. As well as goals and preferences.
In addition, Alison will explain how the services work, outline training options, discusses expectations, and answers any questions you may have.
Your initial assessment is a structured evaluation used to establish a clear and accurate baseline before beginning a personalised training programme. It allows Alison to design a safe, effective, and goal-oriented plan that is tailored to your individual’s needs, abilities, and current fitness level.
The assessment may include body measurements, fitness and strength tests, cardiovascular assessments, flexibility and mobility screening, and posture or movement analysis. These components help identify strengths, limitations, muscular imbalances, and potential risk factors that may influence exercise selection and progression.
Fitness testing offers measurable data to track progress over time and ensures training intensity is appropriate from the outset.

Alison is a dedicated personal trainer with over 10 years of experience, having worked with a wide variety of clients in South Africa. As a mum of three, she truly understand how valuable your time is — and how important it is to use that time wisely. Alison's approach to training is efficient, purposeful, and results-driven, ensuring every session counts and delivers maximum benefit. She is passionate about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and capable in their bodies, no matter their starting point.
