Missed a Swimming Lesson?
Swimming Lesson Makeup Policy
If you are unable to attend a lesson you must log in to your online portal or app and mark yourself/child/children as absent no less than 1 hour before the lesson commences to receive a makeup token.

Absences can only be marked 7 days in advance.

Makeup tokens can only be used after the class you have marked absent from has been missed.

Your makeup token will have no expiry.

Makeup lessons are subject to availability.

Makeup lessons can only be booked up to 3 days in advance.

Makeup lessons are not available for Manuka Doctor sponsored Water babies.

Refunds or credits are not provided as an alternative.

Makeup lessons are not transferable to other students.

Please be aware that students must have an ACTIVE BOOKING to redeem make up tokens.

Due to Makeup Tokens having no expiry, these will remain on your swim account should you cancel. However, they can only be used whilst you have an active booking.

In the unlikely event of lessons being cancelled due to something out of our control, customer’s swim accounts will be issued with a makeup token. Refunds or Credits will not be given.
How To Mark An Absence
1.
Once you're logged in, under the My Info tab, select the student you wish to mark as absent.
2.
Find the lesson that wish to mark as absent and select "Withdraw" and confirm the absence on the next pop up screen.
Remember absences can only be marked 7 days in advance.
3.
If you meet the Make Up criteria, you'll see a make up appear in the make up class tab below your schedule. This may take a minute or two to appear, or you may need to navigate away from this page and back again.

How To Book A Make Up
1.
You'll be able to see your Make Up under the My Info tab of the student. Here you will see the issue date and and expiry date.

Navigate to "New Booking" Menu and Learn to Swim.
Select the Make Up link to search a class to book.
2.
Find the lesson with a space available at the same level that you swim.
Remember absences can only be made 48 hours in advance.

Select "Book" to confirm it is the lesson you wish to attend.

Select the student who the make up lesson is allocated to.

Place your order to confirm the make up book. It will be marked as free of charge.
Your make up lesson is now booked and will appear in your schedule calendar under "My Info"
