RPM™ is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low impact and you can burn up to 675 calories a session.

With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly spin the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.

RPM is a great way to build up your sense of personal achievement. You can draw on the group’s energy and find your rhythm in the music. You control your own resistance levels and speed, so you can build up your fitness level over time. It’s a journey, not a race!

Your instructor will show you how to set up your bike and all the basic cycling moves. You can start off with 4 or 5 tracks and work your way up to a full class.


How often should I do RPM?

For awesome results, we recommend you do RPM 2 – 3 times per week.

Do I need any special cycling gear to do RPM?

RPM can be done in normal workout clothes, so no specialized cycling gear is required. Cycling shorts will make the ride more comfortable but they’re not essential. Our bikes offer the option to wear either your workout shoes or cycling shoes.

What do I need to bring with me?

All you need is comfortable workout clothing, workout shoes, a drink bottle and a sweat towel.

All you need to know about our booking system - Thank you for your co-operation.

  • The online timetable works on a 7 day rolling system. Please ensure you are booking the correct day and time (see date in red at the top of the booking form)
  • You will receive an email confirmation once you have booked.
  • We will send you a friendly reminder email 24hrs before each class.
  • If you are unable to book, unfortunately the class is full, please enter your details on the Waitlist.
  • If you are unable to make your class please email us here or call us on (09) 421 9700 as soon as possible.
  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class to allow you enough time to check in at reception and grab your tag.
  • In the interest of fairness only 1 booking per person.
  • Once you have entered your name and email address, your name is allocated to that 1 email address.
  • Family & friends must book using their own name and email address.
